Centennial Cares

Launched in 2023, Centennial Cares is the City of Centennial’s annual holiday campaign dedicated to supporting local charities and nonprofits. Each season, this initiative shines a spotlight on Centennial-based organizations, providing opportunities for residents, businesses and community partners to give back and support impactful causes in the community.

Centennial Cares connects the community with essential services, from medical support and resources for children to assistance for those experiencing homelessness, allowing residents to make a meaningful difference locally.

The City of Centennial invites residents, businesses and community partners to join Centennial Cares—a year-round initiative supporting local charities and nonprofits. Whether it’s providing essentials for those in need, supporting children’s programs, or enhancing access to resources, there are many ways to make an impact right here in our community.

• Arapahoe County and Arapahoe County Sheriff's Office: Arapahoe County Partnering for the Holidays creates a special holiday season for local individuals and families in need.
• Back the Blue K-9 Force: Provides local support to law enforcement K-9 units, helps obtain additional K-9 dogs and care for retired K-9s.
• Centennial Arts and Culture Foundation: Celebrates, inspires, and connects art and culture in Centennial.
• Cherry Creek Schools Foundation / Littleton Public Schools Foundation: Supports education opportunities, resources and tools needed for teachers and kids.
• Freedom Service Dogs of America: Transforms lives by partnering people with custom-trained assistance dogs.
• Iron Sharp Community Foundation: Mobilizes community resources, education and mentorship support to communities in need across Aurora and Cherry Creek School Districts.
• Kids Mobility Network: Supplies children with disabilities with complex rehab technology and durable medical equipment.
• Nourish Meals on Wheels: Enriches the lives of older (60+) and homebound adults in South Metro Denver.
• Philo’s Kitchen: Serves nutritious meals from perishable foods that would otherwise be disposed of by food providers.
• Project C.U.R.E.: Addresses the shortage of medical resources around the world.
• The Salvation Army, Centennial Corps: Committed to maximizing positive impact for those in greatest need.
