Do I need to appear in court?
Yes,
- If you are contesting the charges (if you are a juvenile you must appear with a parent or guardian.)
- If your ticket was marked or circled "summons" you must appear in court on your specified court appearance date. Please contact the court for any questions.
- If you have missed your original court date, please contact the court at 303-325-8000.
- If you choose to appear in court, a $30 court cost fee will be added to your original fine amount.
- Fines and costs imposed by the court are due and payable on your court date.

- If you pay as outlined on your ticket prior to the appearance date on your ticket you do not need to appear in court, your case is closed.
- By paying your ticket in advance, you are acknowledging you have reviewed the Advisement of Rights and are entering a plea of guilty to the charge(s) and waiving your rights as set forth in the Advisement of Rights.
Failure to pay penalty assessments or court-ordered fines may result in a collection agency taking action against you.
