Centennial Colorado Celebrate Independence Day Safely

With the 4th of July, comes fireworks and Centennial residents may only use certain fireworks legally in the City. "Permissible fireworks" are limited only to those that do not explode, leave the ground or fly through the air. Sparklers, cones, snakes and fountains are allowed. The use of certain types of fireworks is consistent with the State of Colorado and Arapahoe County. Enforced by the Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office, the sale of all forms of fireworks in Centennial continues to be prohibited, including their use and possession in parks and open spaces within the City.

Remember fireworks can be dangerous. Please be responsible and help make this 4th of July safe and enjoyable for everyone. View Fireworks Safety Tips.
