Ordinance No. 2024-O-17 was adopted by City Council in December 2024 authorizing the use of the City’s official website for the posting of notices as required by the provisions of the City of Centennial Home Rule Charter. Legal notices posted here include notices of public hearings, proposed legislative actions and final legislative enactments.

Public comment will be allowed at the public hearing of the proposed item. For more information on the item, please visit the City’s meeting page.

Notice is hereby given that the City Council of the City of Centennial, Colorado will conduct a public hearing on Tuesday, March 4, 2025 at 7:00 p.m. regarding Ordinance No. 2025-O-04, An Ordinance of the City Council of the City of Centennial, Colorado, Amending Chapter 12 of the Municipal Code (Land Development Code) Concerning Applicability To City Owned Property. The public hearing will be held in the City Council Chambers at 13133 E. Arapahoe Road, Centennial, Colorado. Copies of Ordinance No. 2025-O-04 are available for inspection by the public on this web page. Interested parties may provide comment during the public hearing on March 4th. Interested parties may file written comments with the City Clerk, at:  cityclerks@centennialco.gov or via mail at:  13133 E. Arapahoe Road, Centennial, Colorado 80112, received by 1 p.m. on March 4, 2025. Any written comments received will be read into the record during the Public Hearing.

Notice of Application for Liquor License

Notice is hereby given that the City of Centennial received an application by El Karajo Mexican Restaurant, LLC DBA El Karajo Mexican Restaurant located at 7592 S. University Blvd. Unit A-100, Centennial, CO 80122 for a Hotel and Restaurant liquor license. The City reserves the right to hold a public hearing upon request if there are concerns regarding needs and desires. Should no concerns be presented, the hearing will be vacated. 

A placeholder for a virtual hearing date is as follows: Wednesday, March 5, 2025 at 10:00 a.m.

Ordinances under consideration by the Centennial City Council are publicized in full on this website not less than three (3) days prior to the first reading and public hearing of the ordinance. First reading of an ordinance may be by placement on the City Council’s Consent Agenda for such meeting. Second reading of an ordinance is considered at a meeting not earlier than six (6) days following the first reading of the ordinance. A public hearing, at which comments from the public are heard, occurs with the second reading of the ordinance. The full text of the ordinance, with any amendments, is again publicized on this website within three (3) business days after final passage of the ordinance. Ordinances become effective thirty (30) days after final publication on the City’s website (Section 2-1-110).
