The Centennial Election Commission was formed in 2009 to encourage citizen involvement in the election process and to assist the designated Election Official in managing the election processes in a fair, open and efficient manner as may be permitted by law.


Current Recruitment

The City of Centennial is currently accepting applications to fill openings on the Election Commission.  Terms are for a period of three years. Meetings are held approximately four times a year at 13133 East Arapahoe Road, Centennial, CO 80112 on the 4th Tuesday of the month.

Application deadline: Friday, June 7, 2019 at 5 p.m.

Meetings

Meetings take place quarterly on the fourth Tuesday of the month at 6 p.m. at the Centennial Civic Center.

Members

The Election Commission consists of five regular members and two alternate members appointed by City Council. Members serve in staggered three-year terms. The members of the Election Commission include:

  • Mark Hamouz
  • Linda Templin (first alternate)
  • Michelle Hammond (second alternate)

You may pre-apply at any time for any board or commission by filling out the online application. During the recruitment period for openings, the City Clerk’s Office will contact you for additional information and to schedule an in-person interview with the Appointment Committee.
